The opportunity of Grow the Game is open to all Black men and Black women golfing professionals who are actively attempting to earn their way to the PGA & LPGA tours.


Applications for the 2021 Grow the Game Scholarship will be accepted for consideration between 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) Sunday, August 01, 2021 until 11:59:59 PM ET on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this scholarship window.


The 2021 Grow the Game Scholarship is only open applicants who are actively* PGA and LPGA players who submit the following requirements at the time of entry:

  1. Resumé of golf accomplishments

  2. 3-minute personal statement video

  3. A tentative 2022 tournament schedule

  4. 2022 budget;

  5. List of current partners/sponsors

  6. Provide a marketing strategy (i.e. In what ways could a company benefit by utilizing your likeness for a sponsorship?) 

  7. As you become more successful in the golf community, what kind of philanthropic goals do you want to achieve?

  8. Answer the essay question, “What is your purpose?” (no length requirement)

Scholarships winners will be announced in February 2022.

Scholarship funds will be provided in installments based upon current PGA/LPGA status and tournament readiness. **



*Applicant must have active PGA/LPGA status by February 2022.

**If the recipient is recovering from an injury, scholarship installment will be put into hold status until he or she is able to play.
